Tokina Corp. has announced that its AT-X 16-28 F2.8 PRO FX lens -- first previewed at this year's Photo Marketing Association Spring tradeshow in Anaheim, California -- will go on sale in Canon-mount form from tomorrow, in the Japanese market. The Tokina AT-X 16-28 F2.8 PRO FX first became available in for Nikon-mount cameras last August 6th, making the Canon-mount version the second to reach the market. Suggested retail pricing before tax is set at 118,000 (roughly equivalent to US$1,350, ignoring exchange rate fluctuations, taxes and duties).
