Pentax Imaging Co. has today announced its forthcoming 645D Japan medium format digital SLR, a variant of its existing 645D model. The Pentax 645D Japan is being produced to celebrate Pentax's receipt of the "Camera of the Year" award at the recent Camera GP Japan 2011 awards, the company's fourth model to receive this honor.
