Japan's Panasonic Corp. has announced that it is preparing updated firmware for three of its Micro Four Thirds digital camera models, slated for availability next month. The new firmware will bring the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 to version 1.2, the Lumix DMC-GH1 to version 1.3, and the Lumix G1 to version 1.5, respectively. In all three cases, autofocus performance with third-party lenses has been improved.
