Nikon Inc. has issued an updated firmware release for its prosumer D7000 digital SLR, correcting a number of issues in the previous release. Nikon D7000 firmware version 1.02 changes the behavior of the camera's long exposure noise reduction function, which when enabled will now apply dark current subtraction to images with shutter speeds greater than one second, rather than the previous eight second threshold.
