The British Journal of Photography has published several related articles detailing the imminent closure of camera and lens manufacturer Franke & Heidecke GmbH. Franke & Heidecke supplies medium-format bodies and lenses to both Leaf Imaging and Sinar. On July 4th, the BJP reported that the company will close by September 2009, with the loss of some 131 jobs.
