Eastman Kodak Co. has today unveiled its EasyShare M590 camera, which the company describes as the world's thinnest to include a 5x optical zoom lens. The Kodak M590 captures images and 720p high-def movies with a fourteen megapixel CCD image sensor. The M590's lens carries Schneider-Kreuznach branding, and provides focal lengths from a rather tight 35mm-equivalent wide angle to a useful 175mm-equivalent telephoto.
