Fuji JZ250, JZ100: Two long-zoom peas in a pod

Rounding out its long zoom camera announcements for the day, Fujifilm has taken the wraps off the Fuji JZ250 and Fuji JZ100, a duo of long-zoom cameras that look near-indistinguishable when seen from in front, although the JZ100 seems to be a tad bit slimmer on the top deck. The Fuji JZ100 is the more affordable of the two, priced at US$130 and available from March 2012. Sensor resolution is 14 megapixels, although Fuji has yet to identify whether this is from a CCD or CMOS image sensor, while a Fujinon-branded 8x optical zoom lens yields a 25mm wide angle.
