Does a custom profile and multiexposure matter? We scan a high-contrast Ektachrome slide using SilverFast and VueScan, comparing the results to Canon's ScanGear. We've updated our review of the CanoScan 9000F with scans made using SilverFast and VueScan, both which were recently updated with support for this new high-resolution flatbed scanner. Our test image is an Ektachrome slide of Rodin's Thinker at the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco.
