Canon USA Inc. has released updated firmware for its EOS Rebel T1i digital SLR, known in some markets as the EOS 500D. Available immediately in the USA and globally, the new Canon T1i firmware is said to improve the reliability of live-view shooting. It also corrects some issues with incorrect indications in the English, Arabic and Swedish-language menu screens.
