We had a chance to tour Canon's service & support facility in Newport News, Virginia recently, one of five service and support centers located around the US. (Others are in Irvine, CA, Aurora, IL, Jamesburg, NJ, and Chesapeake, VA.) It's an impressive operation (certainly the impression Canon wanted us to take away ;-), so we thought we'd share a few details with our readers. We actually saw only a tiny part of the overall Canon Virginia operation, namely that dealing with camera, camcorder, and lens repair, which occupies just a portion of one building.
