Canon USA, Canada and Japan have all announced modification programs for Mode dials on the EOS 7D and 5D Mark II digital SLRs. The programs replace the existing mode dial on either camera model with one similar to that featured in the EOS 60D, where a button located at the center of the Mode dial must be depressed before the dial can be turned.
