Nikon Inc. has today unveiled its latest enthusiast-oriented compact digital camera, the Nikon Coolpix P7000. The Nikon P7000 is an entirely new design inside and out, with its heart being a a 10.1 effective megapixel CCD image sensor that rolls back the megapixel rating slightly in favor of improved noise characteristics.
