Pentax: two more photo workshops

Pentax Imaging Co. has updated its recently launched Facebook events page with two new sessions, both taking place in New York on May 4, 2010. The workshops are scheduled to take place in the Event Space at photo retailer B&H's 9th Avenue location, each running for two hours from 11AM and 3PM respectively. Adobe CS3 crash issue with OS X 10.6.3

Adobe has posted a TechNote advising customers of a potential crash issue when running Adobe CS3 applications on Mac OS X 10.6.3 in certain configurations. According to the TechNote, Adobe CS3 applications can crash on launch -- in some cases because the Mac's system serial number contains more than twelve characters. Adobe notes that it believes this to be the case only on systems without a valid serial number. Three possible solutions to the problem are provided by Adobe.
